Sustainability is a core priority at Surfaces Furnishing. For Fashion Avenue at The Dubai Mall,the world’s most visited retail destination,we supplied and installed over 3,000 sqm of high-performance carpet, created to meet the demands of heavy foot traffic without compromising on refinement. The 2022 renovation became an important milestone in our sustainability journey. Crafted entirely from recycled plastic bottles, the carpets transformed approximately 1.2 million 500ml bottles into a high-performance flooring solution, keeping them away from landfills and giving them a meaningful second life. Bringing together luxury, durability, and responsible innovation, the project reflects our commitment to eco-conscious flooring and our pride in contributing to the UAE’s overarching sustainability vision.
